The feedback that SLH had from an SLH club member.
My family and I have just returned from Moscow and a wonderful stay in the Savoy
Hotel. I would like to express what a beautiful hotel you have found for us, the staff were brilliant, nothing was a trouble to them.
The building it's self is amazing luxury and the pool area was just what was needed after a day of sightseeing. I cannot say how impressed we were with everything during our stay.
After a quick e-mail to them, we were advised to stay in a Family suite which was a Junior suite with a connecting door to a double room, it was perfect for our family. The Reservation staff at the Hotel could not have been more helpful, not only did they deal with the resrevation,they organised support documents for our visa and transfers from the
airport. The Reception staff were great, gave us a tour of our room to ensure we were happy with it before we were given a tour of the hotel.The Business centre organised tours of Moscow and the Kremlin as well as advising us where to find genuine Russian food and
souvenirs at reasonable prices and checking in on-line for our flight. The included Breakfast Buffet a perfect way to start the day.We tried out all of the avaliable facilities, dinner, room service, spa, bar we could not fault a thing.The situation 5 mins walk from Red Square, 2 mins from Bolshoy and, the kids favourite, directly opposite the Russian equivalent to Hamleys is perfect. To top it all off my birthday fell during our stay and on that morning the hotel gave me a card along with a Georgian bottle of Champagne and a wonderful fruit basket to celebrate. A first for me and we have often stayed in Hotels for my Birhtday.
Again I have to say the SLH Group have found a gem in Moscow! We are continually thankful that we found your wonderful directory and feel sorry for those staying in the 1000 room impersonal hotels around the corner where we used to be before we came across SLH.
